Spindrift is a charming two bedroom Cornish coastal cottage only 50 metres from Porthtowan’s award winning beach.
The cottage, situated in a courtyard of modern cottages, enjoys views of the sea, sand dunes and the cliffs beyond.
Spindrift sleeps four people. It has one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The modern bathroom has a bath with a shower. Bed linen is provided, but towels are not available.
On the ground floor there is a well-furnished lounge with double aspect windows, and a kitchen/diner with access to the enclosed garden which is a perfect sun trap.
The cottage has WiFi, LCD TV, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven/microwave, fridge/freezer, and other modern amenities.
There is off road parking for one car. It is a strictly no smoking cottage and pets are not allowed.

The village of Porthtowan is perfect for families, surfers and walkers alike. Just across the sand dunes from Spindrift is the popular Blue Bar. There is the excellent Porthtowan Beach Café for great food during the day and The Unicorn gastropub for fantastic meals and drinks at night. There is also a handy village shop, ice cream parlour and a well-equipped children’s play area.
Porthtowan's central location and easy access to the A30 means it is ideal for touring Cornwall, with many of its tourist attractions within easy travelling distance.
Porthtowan's renowned Blue Flag beach is perfect for families, who can enjoy body boarding and surfing in the Atlantic waves or playing in the rock pools when the tide is out.
There are local surf schools and equipment hire locations available in the village.
At low tides, the sandy beach stretches for one and half miles from Porthtowan to Chapel Porth. The RNLI provide a lifeguard service on the beach from early May until late September.
For walkers, the south-west coastal path runs through Porthtowan, north towards Chapel Porth and St Agnes, and south to Portreath.

Bookings are available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday, with a minimum stay of one week. Guests are welcome after 4pm and are required to vacate by 11am.

If you would like to book Spindrift cottage please complete the booking form, be sure to include your full contact details, the desired dates of your stay, and party size.
Once your booking has been confirmed, a 30% deposit is required with the balance due eight weeks before your booking date. Payment can be made via a bank transfer or by cheque.
